I really enjoyed the first season of Flight Of The Conchords on HBO. I don’t really know if there is another season is in the works, but I got a lot of laughs from the first one. One of my favorite episodes is when Bret and Jermaine had The Hiphopopotamus vs. The Rhymenoceros battle rap. Because there ain’t no party like my Nana’s tea party……Hey….Ho!

Thanks to Fritz and Mark for turning me on to this show while chilling in the hotel room in NYC.

Snowboarding At Home

Usually I have to go to the mountain to go snowboarding, but last week I was lucky enough to do some snowboarding at home.

After getting an unusual amount of snow in the Willamette Valley; me, my dad and some kids in the neighborhood took advantage of the fresh powder on a hill in the playground across the street from my house. The kids had a sled, so my dad (who was visiting from Louisiana), was able to get in on the action.

We built a nice jump at the bottom of the hill that was a lot of fun to hit on the snowboard and on the sled. Unfortunately, the photos of the jumps didn’t come out.

House For Sale

Filed under: Life — Dave Barousse at 6:38 pm on Monday, February 4, 2008

My wife and I have recently decided that it is time for our stay in Eugene, OR to come to an end. Eugene has been great, but we are ready to get back to some warmer weather and closer to our family. In order to do that, we’ll need to sell our house first and foremost.

After a few weeks of getting the house ready to sell, it finally went on the market this morning as MLS # 8011504.

Our Realtor is Ed St. Clair Jr and can help anyone who is interested in the house.

There is also a Virtual Tour available to see the entire house.
